Hello All,  My name is Julie.  My family and I are wanting to live and work in Australia. 

I am a diagnostic medical sonographer working here in the US.  I am getting ready to send my information off for educational review to the AIR.

I am understanding that , in my field, I need the AIR to issue a certificate. I will then have to apply to the ASAR and then to which ever local governing body the state we will live in requires.  If/when this happens, we will then be seeking an employer sponsor.

We are wanting Queensland state, but, are open to anywhere.  Our family is viewing this as the “Waddell family Australian Adventure”.

I see it as an opportunity of a lifetime for our family. A way to help teach our daughter about the big wide world that is out there. I was fortunate to be able to live abroad as a child and feel this is an important life experience to share with my daughter, and husband (he also have never lived abroad).

We are seeking to meet some friends, to be able, to share this experience with our family and any guidance we can get along the way, would be much appreciated.
