Hi

I'm hoping to immigrate to Australia working as Mental Health Nurse but I have concerns about myself being deaf wearing two hearing aids. Could this possibly resulting me being denied a visa and citizenship?

Would the immigration authorities deny myself or has anyone been successful immigrating and wears hearing aids?

Also my mother who is 53 and hopes to move too but she suffers from Diabetes, Osteoporsoris and Arthritis, could she too fail the health requirements for immigration?

Do hope someone can help, I've been phoning all that I can but no avail with information and researching for nearly a year and again no avail.

You can go but i don't think your mother can. You have a hearing problem. I think the authorities aloow that but your mother a you are saying he has more than one health related problems she can't go.
